EZH Radio \\ December new music ft GoGo Penguin, Chris Dave and LayFullStop

Best of 2017 lists can wait; there’s so much new music to consume this December. We’ve got our sights on Northern stars; GoGo Penguin are back with a dance-floor mentality whilst rising vocalist LayFullStop and Gondwana newbies Noya Rao shine bright.

Drumming heavyweight Chris Dave drops a debut that soars with beats and groove and we’re treated to a version of Miles Davis’ Black Satin via Collocutor. The brooding voice of Oscar Jerome returns with another catchy hook and new London collective Sans Soucis give us a lullaby-esque introduction to their sound.

We’ve got three live recordings for you; we get percussive in Uganda with Nihiloxica. Jazz band with a punk attitude Onyx Collective give us track Steam Rooms—recorded on an iphone. Meanwhile Gearbox Records present their first release with Butcher Brown, an album recorded live at Vagabond in Richmond, Virginia. Solid releases from Ghana’s Guy One and Sampa the Great also make appearances.
