Celebrities enjoy wagering money on sports just like anyone else. Some of the richest celebrities in the world, like Floyd Mayweather, are some of the biggest sports bettors.
Floyd Mayweather
Boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather is an accomplished sports bettor. In 2020, he put a huge sum of cash on the Green Bay Packers to beat the San Francisco 49ers. The Packers won 34-17, so he walked away with a big profit. The retired billionaire later filmed himself in a Chevrolet Super Sport with his cash winnings displayed on the passenger seat.
More recently, Mayweather won more than $50,000 when Dmitry Bivol won his light-heavyweight fight against Canelo Alvarez. Mayweather usually gambles in Las Vegas, where he lives. Today users often bet online by using a mobile device and a sports betting app.
Matt Lucas
Matt Lucas, comedian and Arsenal fan, correctly predicted that Eddie Nketiah would score first and Luke Aisling would be sent off. The actor is well known for his role in Little Britain.
